Our Reconciliation Commitment

The Adecco Group strives to make the future work for everyone. Our drive to reconciliation is rooted in the belief that talent knows no bounds.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Adecco Group recognises and respects the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners and Custodians of country on which we work and live, honouring their 65,000-year history. We acknowledge their continuing sovereignty and connection to the land, waters, and skies. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and future, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities  for caring for and conserving this land.

Leading the Way: Our Commitment to Reconciliation and Diversity at The Adecco Group

At The Adecco Group our purpose is to make the future work for everyone. This purpose is underpinned by our desire to lead with passion and responsibility; to change the world of work and provide more opportunities for more people. To achieve this, we all must make a genuine commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion –  importantly for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities. As the new TAG Exec sponsor for our RAP, I am proud to lead our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP); a formal commitment and an important first step in our reconciliation journey

The Adecco Group acknowledge our business is conducted on the traditional lands of First Nations peoples in Australia. With our RAP as the vehicle for change, we are committed to implementing strong foundations  that address the social, economic and educational inequities experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It is our aim to create sustainable and mutually beneficial programs that build partnerships, pathways and processes that ensure equitable access to employment opportunities.

Artwork Narrative

“Culture and Connection” is the artwork created to show The Adecco Group visual Reconciliation Action Plan process. With a main gathering circle representing Adecco at top, plus the other two in colours of Akkodis and LHH, and being connected via a journey travelled throughout working standards, and highlighted by the line markings of my people.

The curves in the art and the linework my family use are shown through each of the company colours and represent growth, commitment, respect and purpose. These are connected through the lines that join each area building strength together. Coming together brings that Respect and Team Spirit to a workplace and this artwork. Centre gathering has used the blue colours representing the Future at Work with discussions or connections from each sector. Whilst Adecco, Akkodis and LHH are main sectors, there are others that are building and gathering to build this brand bigger and better.
